MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He was a part of the team together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he performed in a duo with TINI for her hit stream track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is from a musical background, both his elder brother and mother also play music. In interviews, Turizo said that music is an essential part of his life. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. At first, he wanted to become a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
