Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since her teen years she's embraced the edges of both classical and pop music. In addition, she plays with genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, but still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won the Grammy. The single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami is her third studio album. She worked with numerous musicians and producers including Cory Henry. It was released on March 20, 2022, following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform as a solo performer on the show. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first female to win one.
